Ever wondered what the monsters of rock would look like if they were actual monsters? Artist Jason Edmiston has a pretty good idea — and he’s sharing his vision with the rest of us.

Edmiston’s Etsy shop has limited-edition prints available from his ‘Monsters of Rock’ series, the first half of which he first showed off in 2011 at NYC’s Underground gallery show. He saved the second half of the set for a debut earlier this year at the Phone Booth Gallery in Long Beach, Ca.

In all of them, the Canadian artist re-imagines rock luminaries like Dee Snider from Twisted Sister and AC/DC‘s Angus Young (pictured above) as pretty heinous-looking creatures. Edmiston also has likenesses of Axl Rose, Billy Idol, Tommy Lee and more.

You may not recognize their faces at first, but other clues tip off their identities — and once you realize who they are, you’ll probably be as impressed and amused as we were when we first saw them in Badass Digest.

Every $40 work of art is signed and numbered, but since there are only 100 copies available of each “monster,” you’ll wanna jump to it if there’s one you really like. And don’t be selfish — Father’s Day is right around the corner, and there are only 211 days until Christmas.
