Mom Charged with Taking 5 Year-Old to Tanning Salon [VIDEO/POLL]

myfoxny.com

Police in New Jersey have charged a mom with child endangerment for allegedly taking her 5 year old daughter to a tanning salon, where the child was burned using a tanning bed.

The police began the investigation after being called to the little girl’s school when she complained of pain from severe burns.  She told school officials that she got the burns when she “went tanning with mommy.”

I don’t know what it is about people from New Jersey and tanning, but this lady obviously has an addiction to tanning beds.  Patricia Krentcil said she did take her little girl with her to the salon, but never let her get in a tanning bed.  She says the little girl got sunburned while helping in the garden.

She is scheduled to appear in front of a Judge on 2nd Degree Child Endangerment charges.
