We've all been there. Singing a song at the top of our lungs and then someone says "Um, that's not words to the song!" Oops...now where can I bury my head in the sand!

Some of the funniest mistaken song lyrics I've heard?

Tracy Lawrence - Paint Me a Birmingham

Turns out lots of people called the request line and asked for that new Tracy song about a "Burning Ham"! Ha!!!!

In college a friend's older sister was singing to Billy Ocean's Caribbean Queen. Only problem was she was saying Caribou Queen. Now, every time I hear that song, I picture a Caribou on top of a mountain wearing a crown!

A few years back when the song 'I Get Knocked Down' by Chumbawamba came out a friend's daughter was singing this one at the top of her lungs. The lyrics are 'I get knocked down, but I get up again" she kept singing "I Got No Job, but I get up again." ;/

Kenny Chesney's 'Come Over' people have thought he's singing 'Comb Over, Comb Over!'

This is an old one! Creedence Clearwater Revival song "Bad Moon Rising"  The lyrics "there's a bad moon on the rise" is commonly mistaken for "there's a bathroom on the right."

Jimi Hendrix - "Purple Haze" Oh, yes this one I was guilty of! The words "Excuse me while I kiss the sky" has been belted out for years as "Excuse me while I kiss this guy."

What are some song lyrics that you or someone you know have gotten ALL wrong?
