The deadline to pay your personal property in Miller County is Thursday, October 15.

Hopefully you assessed your personal property already. The time frame to assess personal property is from January 2 to May 31. You can assess personal property in person, by phone, by mail or by fax. If you missed the May 31 deadline, there is a small penalty that will be added to your total tax due.

Believe it or not, you have actually already received a bill for your personal property taxes for last year and that is what you are paying on or by October 15. If you were able to keep up with that bill, good for you because you can now pay your personal property taxes online but you have to have that tax bill handy. There is a number from that piece of paper required to pay online.

To pay your personal property taxes in person or mail:

  • Miller County Tax Collector, 400 Laurel Street, Suite 111, Texarkana, AR 71854
  • Phone 870-774-1001
  • Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8AM – 4:30PM

If you do not know how much you owe, the sweet ladies at the assessor's office will help you out. Give the assessor's office a call at 870-774-1502.

My advice, do not wait until the 15th to go to the courthouse to pay your taxes or you may be standing in a long line with all of the other last minute folks.
