What better gift for Matt Kenseth on his 41st birthday than winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup 'Cobalt Tools 400' at Las Vegas Motor Speedway?

This is Matt's 25th NASCAR Sprint Cup win. This win on his birthday makes him one of only a few drivers in history to win on their birthday. He now joins Cale Yarborough, and Kyle Busch in that club.

Kasey Kahne led 114 laps in the race and was trying to make a last lap pass, but couldn't pull it off. Kenseth crossed the line .594 seconds ahead of Kahne. Brad Keselowski finished third, followed Kyle Busch in fourth, and Jimmie Johnson rounding out the top 5.

This win also marks Toyota's 50th win in the Cup series.

Sam Hornish Jr. got his second career win in the NASCAR Nationwide Series "Sam's Town 300' race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, giving him a 19 point lead in the series.

Up next for Sprint Cup it's Thunder Valley for Bristol Motor Speedway to run the Food City 500. Television coverage is on Fox beginning at 11:30 a.m. (cst). (Keselowski won this race in 2012, and has a good shot to repeat.)
