With Kasey Kahne breathing down his neck, low on fuel and running older tires, Matt Kenseth edged out Kahne for the win and took his #20 car to victory lane at Bristol.

The final laps were the most exciting, and brought memories in flashes from the past when Bristol was a lot more exciting. Kahne could've given Kenseth a good bump and made the pass, (Remember Earnhardt "Rattling the cage" of Terry Labonte for a last lap win at Bristol.)

This was Kenseth's fifth win of the season, and guarantees at least a wild-card position in the chase for the Sprint Cup. Kahne finished the Irwin Tools 500 in 2nd position, Juan Pablo Montoya 3rd. Brian Vickers finished 4th, and Joey Logano finished out the top 5.

Next week it's the NASCAR Sprint Cup "Advocare 500" at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Sunday September 1 with television coverage on ESPN beginning at 5:50 p.m..
