Marine Day in Texarkana

Saturday October4 will be Marine Day in Texarkana.The Marine Corps Reserve will be hosting a Toys for Tots event at their location at 2515 College Drive in Texarkana, Texas. The fun will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be Marines in Dress Blue Uniforms for families to take pictures with. There will also be Tactical  Vehicles on display and weapons too.

There will be two different simulators available for use. One will be an Urban Warfare simulator and another will be a Tactical Vehicle Operation Simulator.

The Marines will also be raffling away about ten new bicycles which have been donated by Wal-Mart. This event is free and open to the public. The Marines are encouraging you to give a new unwrapped toy or a small monetary donation to go towards their Toys for Tots Program.
