With numbers approaching 2 billion rounds of ammunition, the DHS now has enough ammo to shoot every American 5 times, or compared to Iraq, they have enough for a 24 year war.

Not just two billion rounds of ammo, but 7,000 fully automatic rifles, and 2,700 armored vehicles. One article I saw on Facebook estimates that based on numbers from the height of the Iraq war, troops were firing 5.5 million rounds per month. Based on those stats, and the numbers of rounds the government has recently purchased, the DHS is armed for a 24 year war,

The DHS maintains that all of this equipment is needed for "training exercises"...??? Of course months ago they denied the purchases. The Obama administration even made suggestions that the ammo shortage and the shortage on certain firearms was just a public buying frenzy in anticipation of anti-gun legislation. I now know that is not true.

All of this together would make any reasonable person suspicious, but then comes the new "No Hesitation Targets" from (Law Enforcement Targets Inc.) LET. The Minnesota based company has been awarded with a $2,000,000 contract. The company posted photos of these targets along with others on their Facebook page...

LET has removed the Targets from their page, and posted this statement...

We apologize for the offensive nature of our “No More Hesitation” products. These products have been taken offline due to the opinions expressed by so many, including members of the law enforcement community.

This product line was originally requested and designed by the law enforcement community to train police officers for unusually complex situations where split-second decisions could lead tounnecessary loss of life.

Consistent with our company mission as a training supplier (not a training methods company), we will continue to seek input from law enforcement professionals to better serve their training objectives and qualification needs. We sincerely appreciate law enforcement professionals for the risks they take in providing safety and defending freedom."

What are your thoughts? Does this bother you?
