Local Police Officer Charged with Aggravated Assault and Deadly Conduct

Hooks Texas police sergeant David Horn, 43, was arrested for allegedly repeatedly stabbing a female family member with a syringe containing an unknown animal tranquilizer.

Bowie County Sheriffs Deputies were responding to a domestic disturbance call at a home on Moss Lane in Hooks, Texas when they found the female family member lying in a pool of blood, and she had been stabbed multiple times with  syringes.  The victim was air-lifted to a local hospital where she is in serious condition.

A male family member that also resides in the Hooks home told officers he witnessed the attack and that Horn had put a gun to his head and threatened him.  Another female also at the residence informed officers that she had witnessed the attacks and had also been assaulted by Horn.
