Locals to Battle it Out in Lip Sync Contest at Jeans & Bling

Are you ready to get your bling on? The 7th Annual Jeans & Bling to benefit Hospice of Texarkana is this Saturday, September 24, beginning at 6:30PM at the Texarkana, Texas Convention Center. Once again, I'll be honored to be your emcee for the event.

This fundraising event will feature performances from two world famous ballroom dancers from ABC's Dancing with the Stars TV show. Anna Trebunskaya and Dmitry Chaplin will perform three dances with costume changes. Plus, Chaplin will get the audience on its feet and teach them a few moves.

Once again, musical entertainment will be provided by Texarkana's own Split Decision band. There will also be food, drinks, a silent auction, and a raffle.

This year, Jeans & Bling will present a lip sync battle titled "Sing at the Bling" in which competitors will lip sync to a song of their choice for one to two minutes, complete with special lighting and effects for their performance. The top two winners will be determined as the audience votes with dollars. The top two winners will also receive the signature "Belt" style trophy that is seen on the TV show Lip Sync Battle.

Kelli Ashbrook Cummings

Kelli is an insurance agent by day, and a lip sync performer by night. She is the wife of Kyle and a mom of two boys and one girl. Kelli is a staple in the Texarkana community and involved with several non-profit organizations.  Matt Graves

Matt is the Director of Adult Ministries at Heritage Church, Founder of Laces of Grace, husband to Corey, dad to three children and host of a morning radio show on Fox Sports Radio. Prior to conquering all these endeavors Matt was a coach at the high school and collegiate level. We are excited to see what Matt has up his sleeve for his performance, as his track record proves he is capable of most anything. Stephanie Potter Black

Stephanie Potter Black is the first female prosecuting attorney elected in to serve the district for Miller and Lafayette County, Ark. Away from the courtroom, Stephanie is a mother of two, enjoys traveling, calling the Hogs and preparing for lip sync battles. We know Stephanie is ready to serve justice at the first ever Sing at the Bling.
