Thursday, January 5:

Cats & Dogs Benefit Show featuring Us and the Ship at 7PM in the Pocket Park on Broad Street. Cost is only $2 and a bag of dog or cat food (any size). All proceeds go to the Texarkana Humane Society.

Saturday, January 7:

Townsquare Media’s 2012 Bridal Fair is Saturday at the Four States Fair Entertainment Center from 10AM to 3PM. If your getting married in 2012, this year’s Bridal Fair will have everything for brides, grooms, family and friends to help plan that perfect wedding. Visit with Wedding Professionals, browse a wide array of products and services while you get ideas and valuable information on everything Bridal. Don’t miss the fashion show at 2PM! COUPLES CAN ALSO REGISTER TO WIN A TWO THOUSAND DOLLAR DREAM GIVEAWAY. Admission is $12 online and $15 at the door.

Dog Adoption Event at Petsmart in Texarkana from 11AM to 4Pm. Many different breeds will be available for adoption from lap dogs to guard dogs. All dogs are fully vetted which means they are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, crate-trained and many are house trained too. These dogs have all been in homes and/or rescues so any questions you have about personalities and such can be answered.
