Light Frozen Precipitation Across The Area

What a difference a couple of days makes.Saturday we were in the 70's and heavy thunderstorms. Monday it is in the upper 20's with some light snow and sleet across the area. So goes the weather in Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas in January.

Expect some light sleet and snow and freezing rain this morning. Precipitation should be light enough not to cause any major traffic problems across the Texarkana Area.

There will also be a slight chance for frozen precipitation  again Tuesday morning and maybe again Thursday morning across the area, before we start to moderate the temperatures again.

In the meantime, it will be mostly cloudy and cold with high temperatures in the low 40's and lows in the 20's and low 30's.
