Leadership Texarkana Looking for Nominations Concerning Wilbur Awards

The Leadership Texarkana Organization has put out their first call for nominations for the organization's annual Wilbur Awards for exemplary community leadership.The Wilbur Awards are presented annually to individuals, organizations, and student leaders who positively impact our community or region as models of effective leadership and for excellence, pride and progress for our community.

The awards are named in memory of Wilbur Smith. who was a great ambassador for Texarkana, U.S.A. for alll his adult life.

Nominations should be made electronically. The nomination forms are available at leadershiptexarkana.com or on the LIFT website at supportlift.org/award  - nomiination  -     forms/. Nominations must be received by March 1st, 2013 and winners will be announced and honored at the annual Luncheon with Leaders event in April.
