Katie Bennett – Eagle Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Katie Bennett, our Eagle Athlete of the week.
Katie is a senior at Redwater High School where she is co-captain on the Cheerleading squad. Katie has been playing basketball since 4th grade, she participates in volleyball, and track.
When asked about her daughter going from cheerleader to athlete, Katie’s mom had this to say…
She knows how to take the makeup off, throw the hair up in the messy-bun, and get down to business with her sports when its time. She may be small but has a huge heart and plays with all she has.”
Katie hopes to attend college, “not too far from home, maybe Henderson”, and she enjoys spending time with her friends when she can.
