Jon Bon Jovi’s Daughter Arrested on Drug Charges
Jon Bon Jovi's 19-year-old daughter Stephanie Rose Bongiovi was arrested Wednesday morning on drug possession charges at her college in Clinton New York.
According to a report from ABC News,
Stephanie, a student at Hamilton College, was arrested after a quantity of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia was discovered in her dorm room. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana, and criminally using drug paraphernalia, all of which are class-A misdemeanors. She was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, which is a violation. She was released on an appearance tickets and must appear in court at a later date."
A rep for Jon Bon Jovi told ABC News that they have no comment at this time.
Police were called to the Hamilton College dorm in response to a report of a female student who had allegedly overdosed on heroin and was unresponsive. Police arrested a male student at that time for possession of a small amount of heroin. Police later returned with a search warrant and found the additional drugs, and paraphernalia.
Stephanie is currently recovering from the suspected overdose at an unnamed hospital.
