Jerry Sandusky was found guilty on 45 of 48 charges against him, meaning the former Penn State Coach will more than likely spend the rest of his life in prison.

After hours of deliberations the jury returned guilty verdicts and Sandusky was then cuffed and taken by officers straight to jail.  He will most likely receive multiple life sentences.

Sandusky could receive up to 442 years in prison, which means there is a good chance that he will die behind bars for his sexual abuse of young boys.

Penn State released a statement on their website, that said "No verdict can undo the pain and suffering caused by Mr. Sandusky, but we do hope this judgment helps the victims and their families along their path to healing."

Eight of the ten victims testified during the two week trial, as did an eye witness, investigators, and  some character witnesses for Sandusky.  However, Jerry Sandusky himself did not take the stand, and neither did his adopted son Matt.

Matt Sandusky was one of his fathers biggest supporters, but last week Matt told prosecutors that he in fact was a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of his adopted father Jerry Sandusky, and that he was willing to testify to that in court.  However, the jury never heard about this, and still found Jerry Sandusky guilty of 45 of the 48 sexual abuse charges against him.
