You've probably heard countless lame stories the last few weeks about someone being a Grinch. Well, we hate to tell you this, but here comes another.

Only this one you'll really like because it involves the Grinchiest of all Grinches.

A man was kicked off an American Airlines flight at New York's LaGuardia Airport bound for Dallas on Wednesday (Dec. 23) because he became irate the crew wished him a merry Christmas.

The man first blew his top when a gate agent wished him a merry Christmas while looking at his boarding pass. He then flipped out a second time like a child who didn't get the present he wanted when a flight attendant also said "Merry Christmas" once he was on the plane.

Apparently, the man was furious because not everyone celebrates Christmas, although it's not clear if he does or doesn't.

The man refused to calm down, so he was removed from the plane -- while other passengers cheered. Goodwill to all man, indeed.

Look, you don't have to be a wizard to know flying is already a tense enough experience without it being the holidays and having a loon onboard who mistakes a congenial greeting for some sort of theological demand. Like anyone who dares order the kosher meal, the man should've known better.
