In an era when many people worry about money, sometimes we get second chances  to reshape our financial futures. Red River Credit Union's Jason Wilburn told us why he is grateful for some of these new opportunities.

This year I would have to say that I am most thankful for having the opportunity to help in our area schools, specifically with financial literacy. My job as a Student Services Coordinator allows me the chance to reach out to young people.

Teaching financial literacy to students is something I am passionate about. I am thankful for those brief moments when I feel I have inspired a young person to begin saving their money and start looking towards their future, not only financially, but also professionally. It is those moments over the past year that I am most thankful for."
