Drummer Jason Bonham and singer Glenn Hughes regrouped as California Breed after their last band, Black Country Communion, fell apart. But now it looks like Hughes will have to carry on without Bonham, at least for the time being.

Saying it "became clear" that Bonham's "professional commitments would prevent him from being able to tour with the band," the group has announced that ex-Queens of the Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal drummer Joey Castillo will step in for California Breed's upcoming run of European dates, scheduled to start Nov. 7 in Russia. "We’re just excited to play live, to tour, to be in front of and with our fans," explained Hughes. "We’re very proud of our debut record and we can’t wait to share it, live and loud, with you."

Bonham, who's currently on the road with Sammy Hagar and has reportedly been rehearsing with Phil Collins for a possible new project, made it clear that there are no hard feelings on his part, telling Facebook fans, "I love those guys but it wasn't going to work for me. I will support them as I love the band I help create and Joey is great. Good luck guys."

California Breed's European tour, which is currently scheduled to conclude in early December, will close out with a series of U.K. shows opening for Slash. Take a look at the complete list of dates below.
