The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has announced its officers will be out in full force during the Fourth of July holiday period, cracking down on impaired drivers. Authorities will be conducting an aggressive Drunk Driving, Over the Limit Under Arrest enforcement  effort.

During the July 4th Holiday period back in 2009, there was a total of 410 U.S. traffic related fatalities. Of thsoe 40% involved a driver or motorcycle rider with a BAC of .08 or higher.

Officers will be looking for people who are breaking the law by driving under the influence and also urge you to wear your safety belts, make sure children are secured in their proper seats in the back seat of the vehcile and drive the speed limit.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is cutting gas prices by 10 cents a gallon for three months. The world's biggest retailer says customers visiting participating Murphy USA and Wal-Mart gas stations from today thru September 30 will receive the discount on all fuel, gas and diesal purchases when they use a reloadable Wal-Mart gift card, Wal-Mart Money Card or a Wal-Mart Credit Card.
