Law enforcement wants you to be safe this Thanksgiving Holiday. Drive the speed limit, buckle your seat belts, make sure children are properly secured in their safety seats and don’t drink and drive.

The Triple A predicts 42.5 million people will be traveling 50 miles or better this Holiday Weekend which would be a 4% increase over last year. That is despite higher gasoline prices, higher air fares and slightly higher rates for hotels than last year. Be safe and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Consumers increased their spending in October but their incomes rose by the most in seven months. The extra money could boost spending during the upcoming holiday shopping season. The Commerce Department says spending increased by 0.1% last month the poorest game in four months but incomes increased.0 4%, the best showing since March.

Meanwhile Business orders for long lasting manufactured goods fell for a second straight month in October. The Commer Departmen says that order for drable goods fell 0.7% in October. Meanwhile the Labor Department says the number of people seeking unemployment benefits ticked up slightly last week after two months of steady decline.
