Texarkana Arkansas Police along with the FBI are looking for two suspects who held up a bank yesterday afternoon. Authorities responded to the Wells Fargo Bank on Hickory Street around 2:30 pm. Witnesses told them that two black male suspects entered the bank brandishing handguns. The suspects ordered everyone inside to lie on the floor while they went behind a tellers counter and took an undetermined amount of cash from the drawer and fled the bank westbound on foot.
Suspects were said to have had ladies hosiery and bandannas over their face to hide their identity. President Barack Obama addresses the nation tonight during the annual State of the Union Speech to a joint session of Congress and a nationally televised audience. The President expected to talk a lot about the economy during this election year address and to touch on a number of other topics including education .
Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has sued a Missouri man and two companies that control internet payday loan websites which offer loans to consumers at interest rates exceeding 600%. The websites are purportedly based from a Caribbean Island but McDaniel says all lending operation were based in the Kansas City, Missouri area . The attorney general says the loans violate Arkansas law.
The Texas Longhorns reportedly are extending the contract of Head Football Coach Mack Brown by 4 years.
