The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is searching for a missing juvenile reported as a runaway. Authorities describe 14 year old Corona Cole McNeal as a white male 5′ 7″ tall around 120 pounds. He could possibly be riding a blue bicycle and carrying a black pack. Texarkana Arkansas Police have arrested an armed robbery suspect in connection with a recent crime outside a fast food restaurant in the 700 block of East 7th Street. 19 year old Rashee Wyrick is jailed in the Bi-State Justice Center and faces armed robbery charges.
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee has endorsed the U.S. Senate bid of Texas LT. Governor David Dewhurst. Huckabee says that Dewhurst shares his views both fiscally and socially as a conservative. Dewhurst is one of a crowded field of candidates hoping to replace Senator Kay Bailey Hutcheson who is retiring from the U.S. Senate after this year.
The Arkansas Municipal League is preparing to start its winter conference. The meeting begins tomorrow in Little Rock and runs through Friday at the Peabody Hotel and Statehouse Convention Center in the capital city.
Texas Governor Rick Perry is sidestepping todays New Hampshire Republican Primary. Perry is staking his hopes on reviving his struggling Presidential Campaign with a good showing in the South Carolina Primary which will
be held on January 21st.
