The Texarkana Texas City Council has called a special meeting for tonight at 6pm at city hall. The purpose of tonights meeting is to conduct an open meeting concerning a discussion on Regional Water Needs.
The council will also have an executive closed session as well. The public is invited to attend the closed portion of tonights meeting.

OSHA, The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has fined Tyson Foods, Inc $70,000 in the wake of a fatal collapse at the company’s Nashville, Arkansas feed mill.
OSHA cited Tyson saying a collapsed grain silo was ” strutuerally unsound”. The silo collapsed prior to dawn last December 9th, killing a 48 year old employee from Lockesburg. Tyson has until June 22nd, to either pay the fine or contest the findings.

In Sports;
The Dallas Mavericks are the 2011 NBA Champions. The Mavericks won their first ever World Title by beating the Heat in Miami 105-95 to take the best of seven series 4-2.
Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says he will pay for a Victory Parade through Downtown Dallas.
