Arkansas U.S. Congressman Mike Ross says he will not be running for re-election next year. The 4th district south Arkansas representative says he would like to spend more time with his family and explore new opportunities here at home in Arkansas. Ross has previously expressed interest in running for Governor in 2014, but said any decision on that would be made after his house term expires.

Texarkana, Texas City Council meets tonight at City Hall. Items on the agenda include water issues and the City Manager's contract. The public is invited to the open portion of tonights meeting.
