J.W.’s News Update: Monday December 5, 2011

An argument between two men leaves one dead and another behind bars. Texarkana Arkansas Police say 43 year old Frank Duggan was shot to death allegedly by his 19 year old stepson Kenon Strange Saturday night after the two got into an argument at their home on Meadows Road. The victim’s body has been sent to Little Rock for an autopsy.

There are some new signs that the economic recovery isn’t on firm footing. The Institute for Supply Management says U.S. service companies expanded at a slower pace in November, as employment feel sharply. Those companies employ 90% of the U.S. workforce. Meanwhile, the government reports that companies decreased their overall orders to U.S. factories in October for the 2^nd straight month.
