J.W.’s News Update: Friday November 18, 2011

A tragic plane crash in Arkansas.  The crash west of Litttle Rock has claimed the lives of the head womens basketball coach at Oklahoma State University and an assistant coach and two other unidentified people.

The coach Kurt Budke and assitant Miranda Serna are among the dead. An investigation into the crash is underway.

More People will be hitting the road over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Triple-A forecasts a four percent increase in people traveling 50 miles or more compared to last year

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission members have shortened the Turkey Hunting Season from 18 to 16 games next spring. The hunt will be from April 14th thru April 29th and the 2012 Youth hunt will be April 7th and 8th.
