A memorial service is planned for 3pm this Friday afternoon for a former K-9 who passed away earlier this week from natural causes at the age of 10.

The Texarkana, Arkansas Police say K-9 Bruno worked for the department from October of 2003 to February of 2010 when he was retired due to medical issues. The service will be held at 3pm at East Memorial Gardens in a special area near the front of the gardens that has been designated for police K-9's. The ceremony is open to the public.

Oil Prices tumbled to around $93 dollars a barrel today in Asia amid a stronger dollar and mixed signs about the U.S. Economy. Federal Reserve surveys have shown a slowdown in some maufaturing regions. Oil prices have come down from a high of  $115 dollars a barrel back in early May.

Texas Governor Rick Perry will undergo mino back surgery on July 1st. An aide to the governor says Perry has a  " back ailment" and that the surgery has been planned for several months. Officials say the procedure will not affect the governor's schedule.

Tiger Woods is not competing due to a leg injury that has not yet healed.
