Those familiar with Oaklawn Horse Racing Park in Hot Springs will notice a notable change this racing season. Frank Mirahmadi  takes over as live Track Announcer at Oaklawn following the retirement of Terry Wallace. Wallace retires after 37 years as track announcer in Hot Springs.

Mirahmadi has previously worked at Louisiana Downs in Shreveport, Louisiana and in California and for the Television Games Network as well.  He worked at Oaklawn briefly  last year when Wallace’s streak of calling more than 20,000 consecutive races ended.
