J.W.’s News Update: Friday December 9, 2011

A visiting district judge rules in favor of the Bowie County Commissioners Court in connection with their injunction against the County Clerk. The court wants Natalie Nichols to turn over and amend county court minutes as requested by the members. It’s a dispute which has been going on for several months.

Authorities say three children have died after a mobile home was destroyed by flames in East Texas.  A fire spokesperson says an 8, 5, and 4 year old died from smoke inhalation in the small town of Broaddus located near the Louisiana border about 180 miles southeast of Dallas.
