Huge Diamond Found at ‘Crater of Diamonds Park’ in Murfreesboro
On July Fourth, Terry Staggs found a 2.95 carat diamond in Murfreesboro at Crater of Diamonds Park, the biggest this year, and because it was Independence Day he named the gem "The Patriot Diamond."
Terry Staggs, from Richmond Kentucky, has been coming to the park and hunting diamonds for 28 years. The Patriot Diamond is champagne colored and about the size of a pea. Terry's most recent discovery is the largest diamond he's found in all of his years coming to the park.
The Crater of Diamonds State Parkis open to the public, and is a lot of good clean... dirty fun. The park is located at 209 State Park Road in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
