Authorities in Hempstead County, Ark., have arrested a couple of suspects involved in an aggravated burglary case that left two people shot earlier this month. On Sept. 11, 2015, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Tevin McKillion, 23, of Hope and Jordan N. Williams, 26, of Hope in connection to the Aggravated Residential Burglary that occurred on September 3, 2015 in the 800 block of South Laurel Street in Hope.

Both McKillion and Jordan were taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility where they were charged with Aggravated Residential Burglary, Aggravated Robbery, Battery 1st Degree, and Interference with Emergency Communications.

Back on September 3rd at approximately 3AM, officers of the Hope Police Department responded to the 800 block of South Laurel in reference to two people being shot.

Upon arrival, officers learned that 47-year-old Mary Stuckey, and her son, 23-year-old Jordan Stuckey, were inside their residence when two unknown black males kicked open the front door of their residence and entered. Once inside, one of the suspects allegedly demanded money.

A physical altercation reportedly occurred between the suspects and the victims and one of the suspects began shooting at Mary Stuckey and Jordan Stuckey as they attempted to run from the residence.  Jordan Stuckey was struck in the shoulder and thigh and Mary Stuckey was struck once in the lower back area. Everyone, including the two suspects then allegedly ran out of the front door.

Mary Stuckey was transported to Christus St. Michael Healthcare Center in Texarkana, Texas while Jordan Stuckey was transported to Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope.  Both victims were treated and later released from the hospital.

Anyone having any information regarding this crime is asked to contact Detective Andrew Watson at 870-722-2563.
