Hitting The Snooze Button is Bad For You? [POLL]
Do you hit the snooze button? I do and I hit the snooze button every morning! A new study says it's not a good thing to do. The study showed that six out of ten employed Americans hit the little button at least once a week. Once a week? Now, I find that funny!
I hit that silly button at least twice every morning, because I set my alarm early and my clock is 10 minutes fast as well.
The study shows that 50% of us snooze button hitters sometimes miss breakfast (um, okay I never eat breakfast). And 40% said it makes them skip a morning workout (um, once again, I don't work out in the morning. Oh, and the big one 25% say it causes them to miss quality morning time with their family. Okay, I get up too early as it is and my husband is fast asleep! Yep, looks like I've been able to rationalize all the "negative effects". :)
Studies in the past have shown that those extra 10 minutes have no effect on if you feel more rested or not. But, I think it does make me feel better. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
