A hit and run accident in Texarkana, Texas last night caused damage to a home off of Robison Road. It resulted in an arrest as well.Texas side police say they received a call at about 7 p.m. yesterday, saying a pickup truck driven by 29-year-old Raymond Corbett of McLeod, Texas, struck a Chrysler vehicle operated by a Lewisville, Ark., man, as they were both traveling north in the 3500 block of North Robison Road.

The impact caused the car to leave the road and strike a utility pole before rolling over and hitting a house. Texarkana, Texas police responded to the scene to assist a Bowie County Sheriff’s Deputy who witnessed the crash and pursued Corbett as he fled.

Corbett was arrested and charged with 'leaving the scene of crash causing injury' and 'driving while license invalid.' Corbett also had a probation violation warrant for a 'driving while intoxicated' charge.

Justice of the Peace Nancy Talley set Corbett’s bond at $25,000 for 'leaving the scene of the crash.' He does not have a bond for the 'probation violation' charge.

The driver of the car was transported to Christus St. Michael healthcare System for treatment of minor injuries. No one was injured in the house that was struck by the car.
