The remake of "Total Recall" with Colin Farrell comes out in August, and they just released the trailer. It looks good, but a remake all ready? O.K., time might be flying faster than I realize. To my dismay, it just hit me that the original with Arnold Schwarzenegger came out 22 years ago!

Recent remakes? "Footloose", "True Grit", "The Karate Kid", "Arthur", "The A-Team","A Nightmare on Elm Street". Not to mention the announcement of a remake of "Dirty Dancing" out next year, and casting has begun for a remake of Stephen King's "Carrie".  Plus, now I hear they're talking about a remake "Flatliners".  When does it stop? Most of these movies shouldn't be touched in my opinion!

Yeah, the remake of Total Recall looks good, but I can't help but wonder if Hollywood has run out of ideas? It seems like there is always a remake coming out! Did our parents feel the same way?

Here's a look at the trailer below.
