Green Texarkana July Event Scheduled

The monthly Green Texarkana Recycling day is planned for later in July.

The monthly Texarkana, Arkansas, recycling event, Green Texarkana, will be held Saturday, July 12. This event accepts most recyclable materials and is held the second Saturday of each month.

Green Texarkana will operate from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., July 12 at East Third and Hazel streets. We ask that residents wait until volunteers are ready and in place at 8 a.m. Saturday. Bringing items prior to this time and leaving them in the parking lot is littering, not recycling.

Paper, cardboard, plastic, electronics and ink cartridges and tin and aluminum cans may be recycled at Green Texarkana. Glass, Styrofoam, tires, furniture or hazardous materials will not be accepted.
