Green Recycling Event This Weekend in Texarkana

The next Green Texarkana Recycling event will be held this Saturday, February 9th in Texarkana, Arkansas.The event will happen from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot at Third and Hazel Streets. Recyclable materials accepted include paper, cardboard, plastics, electronics, small metal material and ink and toner cartridges.

Items which are NOT ACCEPTED, include glass, tires, and hazardous waste. In January, 7.3 tons of recyclable materials were collected. The event is held the second Saturday of each month.
