Warmer weather is here and that means lots of fresh fruit. Strawberries are like nature candy and I just found a really cool way to get the green little stem and the hull out.

Who doesn't love to learn new little shortcuts in life? This one is easy and all you need is a drinking straw and, of course, strawberries!

There are a ton of great dessert recipes for strawberries, but personally I like them just plain or maybe a little cream poured on them. Yum!

Here are a few things you probably didn't know about strawberries from Food Republic:

- Strawberries are the only fruit that wear their seeds on the outside. The average berry has about 200 seeds.
- Strawberries aren’t true berries, like blueberries or even grapes. Technically, a berry has its seeds on the inside.
- Each seed on a strawberry is considered by botanists to be its own separate fruit.
- Strawberries are members of the rose family.
