We had a chance to go over to Texas Motor Speedway for the Inaugural Firestone Twin 275′s, and had a great time! Fact of business, I could get used to being called “Suite Jeffrey”…(as long as you spelled it correctly.) We spent most of the race in the TMS Total Access Suite.

Ms. Cindy and I have been to many NASCAR races and we are fans. The kind of fan that likes to be in the grandstands to smell the rubber, and fuel. LOVE the feel of 43 cars cars thundering by on the green flag start. Sadly, and maybe it’s my old man ears but these Indy Cars seem to SCREAM! REALLY LOUD!!!

Maybe it’s the higher pitched engines hurting my old man ears, OR… it could be the Spinach Artichoke Dip, or the smoked BBQ Ribs. It might be the air conditioning, and tv’s for replays, but the Suite life at Texas Motor Speedway, is the Sweet life.

I can’t think of anyone who buys a Ferrari for its family-friendly look and cargo room.

But if you’re someone who would… your moment has finally arrived. This month, Ferrari will start delivering its first ever HATCHBACK.

The car is called the Ferrari FF. “FF” stands for “four seats, four-wheel drive.” And even though it’s a family car in theory, it’s still a Ferrari… with a 6.3-liter V12 engine and zero-to-60 in 3.7 seconds.

The sticker price starts at $370,000, and even THEY know they’re probably not going to get that many buyers… so they’re only manufacturing 800 to be sold worldwide.

Luca Cordero di Montezemolo is the chairman of Ferrari. He says they decided to make the car because, quote, “Ferrari used to be the car you kept in your garage, took out to polish and show, and put back into the garage.

“Today, people want to do more with a car.”

Did you go to RailFest Saturday? The festival took place in downtown Texarkana, and was full of live entertainment, food, a Kid Zone and of course the BBQ Cook-off.
