I must say we all have a new respect and appreciation for what the set up crew (roadies) goes through on a daily basis. I can understand why so many artists thank their crew on award shows because the show starts with them. You better have some muscle too if you are going to be loading and unloading some pretty heavy equipment. I had a chance to snap a few behind the scenes shots of the stage set up I thought I would share with you.

Bobby is approximately three years old. He is a mix between a Rottweiler and a Shepherd. What a super dog! Friendly, sweet and full of playful energy with the ability to settle down quickly. He is willing to learn too.

I saw some great shows here… at a Hank Jr. Show I sipped “shine” from my boot. I was way beyond myself with excitement when I got to be the ring announcer when the Von Erichs wrestled here. (I had gotten a new white shirt for the show at Collins & Williams for $60… got blood all over it… I was pissed.) I saw Kansas there, Chuck Negron, and many others. We even did some Laser Floyd shows there… had a great time with “Darkside of the Rainbow”.

Girls Night Out 2013 took place at Northridge Country Club on Thursday, April 25 and we had a great turnout as we always do. Thanks to all who came out, we hope you had a great time.

When we went outside and she was a lot of fun. She is super fast too. Her tail curls so cute over her back. Bonita has a very sweet soul. She loves people. Then the city governments from both sides of the line really started making it difficult… but that’s for another blog post.

Diesel is a sable colored Shar-Pei mix. At less than one year old he is approximately 45 pounds. Once he fills out he should be around 55-60 pounds. Diesel is lovable, sweet and has a calm-nature. He is a dog that loves to cuddle.

Diesel is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations so his adoption fee will be only $40. He is a great guard. He has spent a little time in the house with no accidents. Gets along well with little dogs, not so much with the big ones though.

Diesel walks good on a leash. He likes to play with water too. He likes to play fetch–he is still learning to bring it back to you so it can be thrown again. He was picked up as a stray in the Pleasant Grove area. No one claimed Diesel so the people that found him took care of getting him fixed and vaccinated. He is now at the shelter waiting for someone to fall in love and adopt him.

Sparky is a less than 1 year old very smart German shepherd mix pup. He walks well on a leash and enjoys playing with people. He will play fetch with a ball and bring it right back to you. He seems eager to learn new games.

This week’s pooch is Johnson, a sweet and mild-mannered Labrador retriever mix. He arrived at the animal shelter in January after he was found roaming a local neighborhood, and now he is ready for his forever home.

Small for his age, (we estimate that he’s probably about two years old), he’d make a great addition to a family with small children. He’s quick to play, but is very gentle when he does so. From the very first time I tossed a tennis ball across the play yard, he chased after it and quickly brought the ball back to me and dropped it at my feet. Johnson loves attention and praise, and seems very smart and eager to please.

His coat is thick and black, with a glimpse of white on his chest. With fur that seems to shimmer in the afternoon sun and a broad tongue that lolls out of his happy mouth, Johnson is a healthy, friendly canine anxious to find the perfect owner. Won’t you provide this pet a pad? He’ll definitely be a faithful friend for many years to come.
