The announcement that Fleetwood Mac has reunited with Christine McVie for a tour has definitely been a boon to ticket sales.  Due to demand, the group has now added additional shows for their upcoming trek, which kicks off September 30.

The added shows will be in L.A. December 6, New York on October 7, Philadelphia on October 29, and Boston on October 25.  Tickets are on sale to the general public starting on April 12 via LiveNation.com.  American Express Card members can participate in a pre-sale from now through April 11.

Billboard notes that news of Christine's return has boosted the band's music sales as well.  In the week following the tour announcement, the band's catalog experienced a 33% increase in sales, and its digital song sales increased by 52%.

As previously reported, the On with the Show tour will be the Fleetwood Mac's first tour with Christine since 1998's The Dance.  The singer and keyboardist initially retired from the group because she didn't like traveling or flying, but recently, she decided that she missed the camaraderie and creative atmosphere that came with being in the band, and decided to return.

Christine tested the waters by performing with Fleetwood Mac last year at London's O2 arena.  In a statement, she said, "It was so comfortable being back onstage with them as if no time had passed, and then we all started talking and it feels like the time is right. I’m really happy."
