Fiery Crash Involving 18-Wheeler Near Texarkana

The Texas DPS says an early morning accident involving an 18-wheeler near the 217 mile marker of Interstate 30 is being worked this Friday morning.The one vehicle accident happened around 4 a.m. this morning as the big rig left the Interstate at the bridge over FM 2148 and fell to the road below bursting into flames.

Authorities say two people in the truck from New Jersey were killed. No other injuries were reported and traffic is flowing on Interstate 30 this morning. But slow down in the area due to emergency crews on the scene.
