Runnin' WJ Ranch will partner with a World for Children and the Bowie County Child Welfare Board in a Joint Fundraising Event at Texarkana Applebee's on March 28. The "Flapjack Fundraiser" will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with all you can eat pancakes for only $5.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and these organizations hope this fundraiser will help raise the severity of this issue. A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds and more than five children die every day as a result of abuse.
