DWI Suspect Crashes into Texarkana Police Car

Texarkana Texas Police say a DWI suspect was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into the back of a police patrol car.The incident occurred Saturday afternoon in the 2700 block of Richmond Road. Sergeant William McAnally was patrolling the area when his cruiser was struck from behind. Officers made contact with the driver 43 year old Jackie Benton. The driver performed the Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Officers determined the driver to be apparently intoxicated and placed him under arrest for Driving while intoxicated.

No one was injured in the incident according to Texas side authorities.
