There have been two area drowning victims found today. One from Lake Wright Patman and another at Millwood Lake in Southwest Arkansas.

On Lake Wright Patman this morning fisherman witnessed a boat running in circles, and as they got closer to the craft they saw the victim floating in the water. The fisherman pulled the man from the water and called 911. Bowie County Authorities believe the victim to be 71-year-old Larry Scrivner of Texarkana, and his body has been sent to Dallas for autopsy.

On Millwood Lake, the body of 74-year-old James Steeley was discovered, Family and friends came to the lake to search for him after he had not returned from a fishing trip. His boat was found on the bank with the motor still running, his body was discovered almost half a mile from the boat in some bushes. His body will be sent for autopsy in Little Rock.
