Dog Park Contest Results Announcement at Party on Friday, August 3 in Downtown Texarkana

The winner of the Petsafe Bark for Your Park $100,000 Grand Prize will be announced on Friday at Festival Plaza in Downtown Texarkana. The party will start at 6:30 p.m. with lots of entertainment and fun for the entire family.

Tomorrow we will find out if Texarkana won the dog park contest. The announcement will be made at the party. Be there to hear the announcement. In addition to finding out if Texarkana won the $100,000 grant, there will be a SUPER SURPRISE announcement that you will not want to miss!

This event is also a celebration of the twin cities coming together and working hard to win a 100,000 grant for a dog park from Petsafe. Texarkana did an awesome job of motivating citizens from all walks of life to focus on one goal to improve our community.

Enjoy live entertainment, food, door prizes galore and fun for the entire family.

Event Details:

The winner of the Petsafe Bark for Your Park $100,000 Grand Prize will be revealed.

Front Street Festival Plaza in Downtown Texarkana, Arkansas.

Performers include Copper Road Band, Tex-Rep Children’s Choir and Texarkana, The Musical.

Hot Diggity Dog Stand will sell snacks and drinks for a small fee.

Bounce houses and big slides for kids.

Guess the final vote and win a prize!

Decorate you own Bark for Your Park t-shirt for the “Most Pawsome T-Shirt Contest.”

Bring chairs and bug spray.

Please bring dog food, leashes, shampoo, beds, etc to be donated to the shelter and rescue groups.

We will have fans and porta-coolers to keep folks cooled off.
