Did You Catch The Transit Of Venus Yesterday Afternoon? [PHOTO]
This is a photo that my cousin took yesterday during the transit of Venus just as sun was setting here in Texarkana.
This was a special and cosmic event that only happens about once every 125 Years and the next one won't happen until 2117. so yesterday evening when I got home and was explaining to My Sister Shannon that since this was such a rare event that we should break out her awesome Canon camera with 12X zoom to try and take a picture of the sun without blinding ourselves. so we Donned our welding helmets and sunglasses and created a filter for the camera and this Pic is what we came up with.
