Cruising the ‘Hot Rod Power Tour 2013′ with Hot Rod Magazine Publisher Jeff Dahlin [VIDEO]

The 19th Annual "Hot Rod Power Tour" was more than I ever thought it could be. Thousands of Hot Rods, Street Rods, Custom Cars and Trucks, and Custom Creations of all sorts rolled into the Four States Fairgrounds and we took a tour of the midway with publisher Jeff Dahlin.

Just as the gates were opening and the vendors were still getting ready for the masses of hot rod enthusiasts that came from miles around, we met up with Hot Rod Magazine publisher Jeff Dahlin for a quick tour of vendor row, and some of the cars as they came in.

What a great car guy... Perfect to be the publisher of the most popular Hot Rod Magazine in the world, he lives and breathes cars, or vehicles of all sorts really. This guy absolutely LOVES doing the Power Tour. You can tell that he really loves what he does when he will see something that he likes and put all of his attention into it. We also learned that his favorite car... is a truck. OH... and I got to meet "Miss Hot Rod" Courtney Hansen host of Spike TV's "Powerblock". (It made me forget Jeff's name for a minute, which was weird.)

There were literally thousands of cars on the Four States Fairgrounds for the biggest touring car show in the world. We had lots and lots of locals entering Hot Rods and Custom Vehicles of all makes and models, along with all of the "long haulers" that make the whole "7 Cities in 7 Days" run of the 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour. In this video you will see just a little of the fun, as there were still some amazing cars coming in when I had to leave. Here is footage we shot around 2 PM. The second stop of the "Hot Rod Power Tour 2013" was sponsored by the Greater Texarkana Visitors Bureau and Edlebrock Performance. The event brought in thousands of visitors from all over the country. Hotels on both sides of the city were FULL, and the tour will generate nearly a million dollars in revenue locally. (Again, thanks to Shelli Waugh with the The Greater Texarkana Visitors Bureau for getting Texarkana on the tour, and I thank Hot Rod Magazine for letting us be such a big part of such an amazingly successful event.)
