The weather could not have been nicer Saturday for the community to gather and celebrate the completion of Main Street's "Paint What Matters" campaign with Benjamin Moore with the "Main Street Matters Celebration" in the downtown Pocket Park.

Festivities kicked off with the Ribbon Cutting. There was a scavenger hunt, trolley rides, a photo booth, free consultations with Benjamin Moore color experts, and more. The highlight of the party were the refreshments, with a six foot 3-D cake replica of our own Broad Street.

Huge KUDOS to all of the volunteers that have contributed time and sweat to this project, and much appreciation for the work they are committed to continue in an effort to bring new life into downtown Texarkana.
