Christian Bale Says He’s Done With Batman
Say it isn't so! Christian Bale has decided to turn in his Batman suit.
Filming has wrapped up on the latest Batman movie directed by Christopher Nolan. "The Dark Knight Rises". It's scheduled to hit theaters this summer.
Christian Bale said, “[I]t’s all done. Everything’s finished. It’s me and Chris – that will be the end of that Batman era.”
Yes, the end of that Batman era. I'm sure another Hollywood screenwriter and director will jump at the chance to continue the Batman story.
Christian was, I think the best Batman so far. Although, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney (Yum!) all did well, Christian Bale had a true dark side on the screen and off. Who could forget the alleged assault on his mother a few years ago and he rant on the set of Terminator Salvation.
