Growing up in Texarkana there are so many memories that come to mind, all you have to do is look around the city and you'll find yourself saying, "I remember when that used to be there."

It is so wonderful and exciting to see all the great renovations going on in downtown Texarkana. There is another grand building that really needs help and all we need to do is vote online to win a facelift for our Amtrak Area in the Union Station building downtown.

For years I've asked a question that has long been on my mind... "Where's my Jetson Car?" Well, shut up and take my money, there it is.

I love to go "Garage Sailing," I don't do it a lot, but you can find some very interesting bargains sometimes when you get that wild hair to head out on a weekend G-sailing adventure. That being said, there are some unwritten rules of garage sale etiquette that some folks need to think about and put into practice. Below are some that crossed my mind, you may think of more.

My friend Bill Harp along with his lovely wife Michelle invited me to join them for the Southern Sportsmen Foundation banquet in Foreman, Arkansas a couple of weeks ago and I'm so glad I finally got to be a part of it. I got some pictures!

Apparently, there are a ton of Comic-Convention-type folks in North Texas that have missed those events since the pandemic began. Well, they're back, the conventions and the folks.

Let me start off by saying I am a good son... It's not that I think I'm a good son, I know it. So, here's the story; My mom's best friend since college is named Sue, I have known Sue and her kids since I was a kid. I also haven't seen her kids since I was a teenager, you could say it's been a while.

Texarkana may be considered a small town but it has grown so much and it just keeps growing. But if you or someone you know is complaining that there is nothing to do in Texarkana, tell them to stop complaining and look at the great things you can do in and around the Texarkana area...
